  • Movement therapy helps you understand how you move so you can move better. Often, the way we move can be improved on, and we can help with that. Learning, progressing, and sometimes unlearning movements is key to knowing your own body. And knowing how and why you move are the way you can truly improve.

Using a method developed by Juliet, who has over 25 years of experience—especially in kinesiology, performance, and biomechanics—we offer a course tailored to your body. Our sessions focus on learning and feeling your movements as a platform for creating strategies to develop new skill or find attributes in movement like power, strength or ease.

Unlike traditional physical therapy, we teach you along the way. You will learn about anatomy, range of motion, proportions, lines of tension to name a few. After facilitating mechanics and anatomy over the years in yoga teacher trainings, we know how to succinctly inform you while you're working on the exercise. This gives you an understanding of your body and movement as you train, exercising your mind and body.

Our goal is to help you become more aware, curious, strong, and skilled in your movements. Together, we’ll improve your mobility, stability, range, control and reduce pain—all while keeping our chin up .

  • It’s for all of us.

Anyone who wants to learn about movement. Anyone who is recovering, training, wanting to move and move better, young and old.

If you’ve finished physical therapy or if it’s in combination with physical therapy our sessions will help you increase and improve your recovery. We will work with the techniques you learn in PT to bring you towards a more embodied and personal recovery.

If you experience chronic pain and want to improve your relationship with pain. If you’d like to learn how to have reduced pain experience through your movements.

If you’re an athlete and your training has plateaued or you want to better understand how your body performs best as an athlete.

If anxiety causes moving, stillness, and breathing to be difficult for you.

If you have a joint replacement or are planning to get one.

If you’ve had a ligament repaired or if you’re working through a dysfunctional movement pattern due to strains and sprain and tendonopathies.

If you have osteoporosis or rheumatoid arthritis.

If you desire considerate 1 on 1 work where you are treated holistically from a movement perspective.

  • Nicole and Juliet are trained by the well-known NOI Group Institute. They use a technique called Graded Motor Imagery (GMI), which is supported by research. For more info -here.

We also use our own MBPR method alongside GMI. Gentle, careful movement—or even just thinking about it—is a powerful tool often missing from physical and occupational therapy. We're here to help you with this new, science-backed approach.

  • Juliet has had a personal experience of a total joint replacement in 2023.

She had a total hip replacement because of severe OA. She can help you with your joint health before and after surgery. She has many ways to help you feel better and move easier. It takes time and commitment but is definitely worth it.
